How to use Zymego

You can simply manage your healthcare  appointments using Zymego

Shorten your waiting time

You can register to receive notifications of offers for earlier appointments. Once you have registered for an earlier appointment, Zymego automatically scans the clinic's calendar every 15 minutes to look for empty appointments that match your requirements. Upon finding a suitable appointment, we'll send you an offer via text message or email. You can then log in to the Zymego web app to accept or decline the offer. To prevent appointments from remaining empty, we send offers to five patients at a time, on a a first-come, first-served basis.

Reschedule and cancel appointments

With Zymego's web app, you can reschedule (without cancelling) and cancel your appointments.

1. Log in using your NHS login. Booked appointments at your clinics connected to Zymego will be displayed.

2. Click on an appointment.

3. Select reschedule or cancel.

4. If you choose to reschedule, select an available appointment.

5. You will receive a confirmation within the web app, confirming that the appointment has been successfully rescheduled or canceled. Rescheduled appointments will be accessible under the 'My Bookings' section. Additionally, confirmation will be sent to you via email and test message.

Request days that suit you

If you wish to reschedule your appointment but cannot find a suitable slot in the rescheduling calendar, you can request your preferred days for a new appointment. You may then choose to either keep or cancel your original appointment. Once you've submitted your preferred days, Zymego searches for available appointments on your requested days, every 15 minutes, around the clock. 


If you choose to cancel your original appointment after submitting your preferred days

‍Upon availability of an appointment, on one of your requested days, we will schedule you accordingly and send a booking confirmation via both text message and email.

In the event that we are unable to find an available appointment after the expiration of all your requested days, we will proceed to search for the earliest available appointment in the clinic's calendar. 


If you choose to keep your original appointment after submitting your preferred days

Upon availability of an appointment on one of your requested days, you will receive a notification with an offer of the available appointment. You may then click the link provided in the notification to view the appointment and either accept or decline it.‍

Frequently asked questions

You cannot lose an appointment that you have accepted and received confirmation for. The message that the time is no longer available only applies to times that you have been offered but not accepted.
If you are unsure which time applies, you can log in to zymego.co.uk to view your booked appointment.

This is how offers from Zymego work:

• You will receive a message about an earlier appointment.

• If you accept the appointment, you will receive a booking confirmation via email and SMS.

• If someone else accepts it before you, you will receive a notification informing you of this.

• If you have accepted an earlier appointment, you will continue to receive offers for earlier times. Messages saying that an appointment is no longer available therefore refer to new offers you received after you accepted your appointment.

• If you no longer wish to receive offers for earlier appointments, log in to zymego.se and click on the link under the orange button "Manage booking".

Once you have requested dates for a new appointment, Zymego searches for available times every 15 minutes, 24/7. As soon as we find an available time on one of your requested dates, we will book you in and send a booking confirmation.

If we have not found an appointment for you by the time all your requested dates have passed, we will book you in for the first available time the system can find, but always with at least one week's notice.

To get an earlier appointment, follow these steps:

  • Log in to zymego.co.uk
  • Click on the "Manage booking" button.
  • Click "Yes" when asked if you want offers for earlier appointments.

Here’s how it works:
You will receive offers for earlier appointments via SMS or email, depending on your preference. Offers are sent to five people at a time, and it’s first come, first served.
To view the offered time and accept or decline it, you will need to log in to zymego.se.
If someone else accepts the appointment before you, you will receive a notification with this information, so you don’t need to log in to Zymego to check if the offer is still available.

If you no longer wish to receive offers for earlier appointments, log in to zymego.se and click on the link below the orange "Manage booking" button.

To view the time and date of your appointment, log in to zymego.se, and you will see your booked appointment.

For security reasons, Zymego can only reschedule and cancel appointments by having our system communicate with the clinic's medical records system on behalf of the patient. For this to happen securely, the patient must identify themselves with NHS login. Therefore, we cannot process cancellations or rescheduling via email.
Additionally, for security reasons, our staff do not have manual access to the clinic's records system, so we are unable to manually adjust appointments for patients.

Some clinics have very few available slots because they have many patients, while other clinics have chosen not to display appointments far in advance.
If there are no available appointments, you can request specific dates for a new appointment. Click "Request dates" in the rescheduling calendar and select the days that suit you.

You are receiving offers for earlier appointments because you signed up to receive them after logging in to Zymego. If you no longer wish to receive these offers, log in to zymego.se and click on the link below the orange "Manage booking" button.
